Lamborghini Aventador Novitec Torado

Novitec revealed recently their first aftermarket program for the Lamborghini Aventador. The Novitec Lamborghini Aventador comes with a more aggressive aerodynamic package, various performance upgrades, and four different power upgrades. Novitec's body kit for the Lambo Aventador is made from carbon fiber and it includes a new front spoiler, side skirts, a huge rear wing and a massive diffuser. With Novitec's body kit on, the Aventador seems to fit better on the Death Star than on Earth's public streets. Novitec's Aventador is fitted with various other exterior carbon trim parts too. Novitec is offering four levels of power upgrades for the Aventador. These include the 722 hp / 704 Nm, 728 hp / 709 Nm, 743 hp / 716 Nm and 748 hp / 722 Nm.
However, if this is not enough for you, Novitec can upgrade you Lambo Aventador to develop no less than 969 hp and 912 Nm of torque. The top of the range Novitec Lamborghini Aventador is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and from nought to 200 km/h in just 7.4 seconds.

Brabus G63 AMG 6x6

In this instance, Brabus used its B63S - 700 performance kit, which, incidentally, is also available for all other current Mercedes-Benz 63 AMG SUVs. But this is the G63 AMG 6x6 we’re talking about here, and with the addition of pair of special BRABUS turbochargers with a larger compressor unit, and a Gold Heat Reflection sheathing for the intake and charge-air pipes that further lowers the air temperature.
With all of those upgrades, Brabus increased the output of this mastodon of a vehicle to 700 horsepower and 708 pound-feet of torque — a staggering increase of 156 horsepower and 147 pound-feet from its standard numbers. With the modifications, the G63 AMG 6x6 is now capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.4 seconds (remarkable for an SUV this big) with an electronically-limited top speed of 100 mph.

There’s no mistaking the kind of intimidation the G63 AMG 6x6 exudes once you look at its exterior. But the cabin is another thing, especially after Brabus finished dressing it up with its trademark fine red and black leather and Alcantara. There’s nothing subdued about what the tuner did to the interior of this menacing ride, opting to give it the kind of bombastic craftsmanship that would make any leather-loving customer blush in the exact shade of the cabin trim.

Last we checked, the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6 isn’t available to the public and is limited mostly for military use. So unless you’re signing off on purchasing one for your next military excursion, then you’re not going to worry about forking over what we assume to be close to $500,000 for the ride with its full Brabus upgrade included.

Not surprisingly, the chassis changes that go with the horsepower increase in the Super Sport are transferred to the Grand Sport Vitesse, which generally means firmer tuning. Also, Bugatti says the Grand Sport Vitesse has been "optically aligned to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport."

2013 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse
No word yet on price, but given the $2.4 million cost of a Super Sport, one can only imagine.

Mclaren 650 S

Positioned above the 12C and transferring technology from the range-topping McLaren P1™, the 650S’s statistics are breath-taking: 650PS, 678Nm, 0-62mph in 3.0 secs, 207mph… but they only tell half the story.

Like every McLaren road car, a carbon fibre MonoCell sits at the core of the 650S. Stiff, strong and incredibly light, the MonoCell provides a solid platform for optimum chassis dynamics, ultra-responsive steering and exceptional ride comfort. Three adaptive chassis modes specially tuned for the 650S exploit this duality: select Track and you’ll feel hardwired to the road surface; switch to Normal and you’ll be almost entirely isolated from it.

Positioned behind you for optimum weight distribution and thrilling dynamics, the acclaimed M838T engine combines 3.8 litres and twin-turbocharging technology to produce an astonishing 650PS at 7250rpm, while 95% of its 678Nm is spread from 3000-7000rpm. That means the 650S revs like a racing car but retains low-speed flexibility.

This remarkable engine sends its power to the 650S’s rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with near instantaneous gearshifts. Pull the rocker shift paddle at full throttle and a new ‘inertia push’ function harnesses the engine’s torque for a feeling of positive acceleration throughout the shift. Change gear at part throttle and a fuel-cut punctuates the transition, adding an audible crispness. Whereas the Automatic mode ensures silky smooth shifts whatever your speed.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion

Pagani Zonda Revolucion

The evolution of the species, the revolution in the concept of art applied to pure speed. Pagani Automobili unveiled the final version of the Pagani Zonda Revolucion to clients and family members during Vanishing Point 2013 - The International Pagani gathering.

The Pagani Zonda Revolucion is the apex of the celebration of performance, technology and art applied to a track car. Horacio Pagani and his team have created a car designed to amaze both on the track and in a car collection.
revol

The central monocoque is carbon-titanium, the needle on the scale stops at 1070kg. The AMG Mercedes engine is an evolution of the Zonda R powerplant. The 6.0-liter V12 now develops an output of 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque, resulting in a power to weight ratio of 748 hp per tonne.

The 6 speed magnesium transversal and sequential gearbox changes gears in 20ms. The traction control developed by Bosch with 12 different settings and the renewed ABS system, allows the driver to adapt the behavior of the car to his driving style.
The Zonda R program has always represented the highest expression of the technology at Pagani Automobili.
revol 2The aerodynamics feature important innovations, like new deflectors on the front bonnet, as well as a vertical stabilizer mounted on the rear bonnet. Pagani Zonda Revolucion also features a DRS (Drag-Reduction-System) on the rear wing. The system has two different operating modes, both can be activated by the driver at any time. The manual system is controlled with the DRS button on the steering wheel. The rear wing changes between maximum and minimum downforce settings, at the occurrence of a lateral acceleration of + / - 0.8 g and a minimum speed of 100 km / h. Holding down the DRS for more than two seconds engages the DRS to work automatically according to the algorithms developed by the Pagani Automobili engineers during the development phase.  The result is a car that is always fast, a strong performer able to take on any circuit in the world.

The Brembo braking system adopts new cutting edge F1-tecnology derived CCMR discs. With a weight saving of 15% compared to the previous CCM discs, the CCMR offer higher stiffness and lower operating temperatures on extreme track use. This contributes to the life of the disc which is increased by four times, with no sign of fading and a significant overall increase in braking power.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion is the ultimate experience for individuals who want to experience the thrill of an extreme track experience, in a safe and intuitive machine. Pagani Zonda Revolucion, like all creatures coming our to the Atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro, is tailor made. An object where art and science blend to create a perfect synthesis of technology, performance and aesthetics. A new masterpiece signed by Horacio Pagani.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion is on sale at a price of 2.2 million Euros plus taxes.

Lamborghini Aventador J

Lamborghini Aventador J

The one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Aventador J is quite literally the talk of thetown, or should we say the world. It was never Lamborghini’s intention to make the speedster into a production vehicle but rather for the purposes of making a statement about its engineering advances. The Aventador J is based on the production Aventador LP700-4 but sits an inch and a half lower than the coupe and only shares a few body components including the front hood, fenders, headlights and rear fenders. The unique speedster lacks a roof and windshield but still manages to look super aggressive because of its factory aero package that include a front spoiler, side sills, rear diffuser, and a rear wing, all finished in black.
The engine is the 691 hp, mid-mounted 6.5-liter V-12 that is also seen in the Aventador coupe. The Aventador J also utilizes the coupes ISR transmission, pushrod suspension and all-wheel-drive layout. Lamborghini has stripped all of the luxurious amenities such as air conditioning and its audio system in order to reduce the weight to around 3,300lbs. The top speed of this speedster is somewhere over 211 mph.

Maserati Alfieri

Maserati Alfieri

Maserati is 100 years old in 2014. So at this year's Geneva Motor Show the company presented itself with a self-proclaimed birthday present, the Alfieri concept car. Named after one of the original Maserati brothers, the 2+2 coupe concept is, so the company says, a vision of what a future coupe grand tourer from the brand could look like. In other words, what you’re looking at here could be the best guess as to what a replacement for the current Gran Turismo will look like.
Interestingly, Maserati designed this one themselves, in house - under the direction of the guy who’s also overseeing Alfa Romeo. That marks a departure, as most Maseratis - Gran Turismo included - have been designed by one of the Italian style houses, most notably Pininfarina.
The Alfieri is smaller than the existing Gran Turismo though, befitting of its 2+2 format. It gains a more aggressive - but still recognisably Maserati - face with deep-set, elongated lamps flowing into that concave grille, with a Trident stood proudly off front.
At the rear, the Alfieri feels more classical - the rounded rump calls to mind cars from, ironically, the Italian style houses such as Zagato - which means it’s left to the strange window kink and slightly odd, light blue highlight colour that’s applied on places like the portholes and in-between the wheel spokes to upset the appearance cartel. Those wheels are pretty special though: 21-inch affairs at the rear and 20-inch at the front, each forged from individual aluminium elements.
Inside, it’s an altogether more classical affair, with lashings of leather but a style that feels decidedly more old school Italian than we’ve seen from the brand recently. There’s a central touchscreen, but otherwise more of a "cockpit" racer approach with two small seats in the back. Judging by the recent Ghibli and Quattroporte, we’d expect any production car to feel just a little bit more modern inside than is being shown here.
Maserati doesn’t really do "out there" pie-in-the-sky concepts though, so the Alfieri is what’s known in the trade as a "runner". In other words it’s built on a proper chassis with a proper engine rather than from bits of Styrofoam. Which means that, as with any proper Maserati, there’s a 4.7-litre, Ferrari-derived V8 engine at its heart. Which is nice. Unfortunately it wasn’t started up though.
Whether this car ever sees the light of day in production form remains to be seen. But given Maserati’s desire to expand its range and sell more cars, we can perhaps learn a couple of things from this concept. One is that, for its future sports cars at least, the company appears to be thinking in a more classical style, inspired by its greats of the past such as the A6GCS, 3500 GT and 5000 GT. They were fabulous, but given that the current cars looks so good too, we’re not sure whether harking back to the past would be a good or a bad thing for the brand.
The other thing we note is that, given the Alfieri’s shorter length and 2+2 style format, Maserati might be thinking about developing a smaller, cheaper coupe model to sit below the Gran Turismo. The Alfieri’s based on a cut-down platform of that car, so the idea’s not exactly an unbelievable one. And the idea of a smaller, more affordable Maserati coupe is certainly one we expect many people would be all too happy to get behind.
